When it comes to design and life itself nothing dates us like the passage of time.  Whether its the wrinkles on your face or the design you thought was great, it all gets old!  But sometimes that little nugget stands the test of time...of course none of the below fall into that category!

You won't catch many doctors endorsing cigarettes any more.  Question is do I go for the Camels as recommended by the doctors of America OR trust a 'well known research organisation' who says Chesterfields have no unpleasant after taste?

Not sure if this is a real advert or a warning, if it's the former that's one hell of a selling point...lets drink something with a skull on it maybe they're joking about the 'poison' bit.

Same old cliche is it a girl or a man.

I have just published some classic poster art of a fictional movie called 'Burning Heat'.  It's available to view on my behance portfolio here - Mr Pilgrim.

The intentions for the project is to create a series of posters inspired by the old 'B movies' when the budget was low but the ideas were high!  For this one I've tried to recreate the kind of cheesy criminal dramas that were all the rage in the 40's and 50's.

Funny Classic Posters - Beach Girls

Found these great classic posters from the 60's 'Beach Girls and the Monster!'

They certainly don't make them like this anymore, I wonder what happens to these old movies.  I mean has anyone actually ever heard of a film called Beach Girls and the Monster?  I don't think it will ever see the light of day again.  Bet it was a diamond in the rough though...or not.

That monster is pretty terrifying though, terrifyingly sh*t.

Retro B Movie Posters

I grew up on old b movies from the 50's where you normally had some radioactive fleas threatening the world or something.  My love for them grew with every film I watched to encompass almost all movies from that time.  Life was simpler back then when everything was in black and white.  Probably my all time favourite had to be 'The Monster that Challenged the World'.  The creatures were kind of prehistoric snail things that escaped from an underground cavern, and you know re-watching it, they were actually pretty well done!

Here's some great old retro movie posters that make me want to pick up the remote.
