Hot off the press some new original graffiti art on canvas!

I've just updated my online portfolio with an original piece of graffiti art on canvas.  The inspiration behind this piece was to create the effect of a heavily tagged or graffiti'd wall in the city and take a snapshot of it on canvas.

'Bitch' Original Art on Canvas by Mr Pilgrim

I made this piece of canvas art a little while ago and have since had quite a bit of interest in it.  It is one of those paintings that you really need to see in person to appreciate the textures that make this one of my favourites.  I used a lot of acrylic paints to create layers upon layers of blacks and reds then finished it off with spray paints.  All done while the paint was still wet so that colours on the surface cracked and could be scratched away.

Adults Only Graffiti Art on Canvas by Mr Pilgrim

This one was quite complicated to produce as I used a lot of different stencils to create the final layered piece.  The worst part was cutting out all of the individual letters that was bloody time consuming!  Looks pretty cool as an end result though and it's all a learning curve, got some big plans for getting extreme with the amount of layers I can introduce.

Love a bit of PINK! Graffiti Art on Canvas

This is some original graffiti art on canvas I made last year.  I created some homegrown stencils and applied a lot of acrylic paint to create a really textured finish that you can see in some of the photos.  A lot of people like this one, and it is one of my favourites.

Original Graffiti Art on Canvas

This was the first graffiti art on canvas that I sold since starting to publish and sell my work online.  Selling just one piece immediately makes you feel that all the work is worthwhile, even if you're not making a lot of money doing it!  I suppose the most important thing is to enjoy what you do, in whatever capacity that is.

This is War Boy - Graffiti Art

I made this large piece of graffiti art on a square canvas a few months ago.  I actually started it about a year ago with the arrows you can see in the background.  I didn't have a plan for what I wanted the finished piece to look like, but through kind of messing about I created a cool background that I wanted to keep.  It wasn't until I started playing with some old war propaganda that I came up with the finished article.

Robot girls smoke too - Graffiti Art

I made this piece on canvas using homemade stencils in my back garden.  It really sucks not having a decent space to paint that doesn't have shelter.  Living in England we get a lot of rain, no let me rephrase A SH*TLOAD of rain!  Anyways I made this one on one of the few days it doesn't.  I used acrylic and spray paints to create a heavy texture and applied the layered stencil.

Graffiti Art for Sale - Mr Pilgrim

This one's called 'Boxer' and I made it last year.  It's painted it on canvas using acrylic and spray paints.  I tried to create a weathered look while keeping it a bit quirky with the deliberate spelling mistake.  Quite a few people have shown appreciation so I thought I'd post it on here.

I used a semi dry brush with a few layers underneath to create the brushed effect
